1. ABOUT DarDino
DARDINO is an independent Moroccan online gaming platform offering free multiplayer games to Moroccans in Morocco and around the world. For privacy questions or support, contact info@dardino.com.
DARDINO is operated from the United Kingdom by Nourddine Elmamoune, who is responsible for the handling of personal information described in this policy. DARDINO is the public-facing name of the service.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Registered players: Information needed for an account, including username, email address, password hash, chosen avatar and account-related settings.
Guest players: Nickname, avatar, room participation and temporary identifiers needed for gameplay and reconnection. Guests do not need to provide an email address or password.
Gameplay: Room codes, player actions, game status and information needed to operate multiplayer games.
Technical and security information: Our systems and hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser and connection information, session identifiers and security or error logs.
Support requests: Information provided when contacting us or reporting a problem.
We encourage nicknames rather than real names and ask players not to put contact information in nicknames.
3. WHY WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use account information to provide requested account services; guest and gameplay information to operate multiplayer rooms and reconnect sessions; technical information to keep the service reliable and secure; and information in support messages to respond to enquiries. Depending on the processing, we rely on providing the service, our legitimate interests in security and operation, legal obligations, or consent for optional analytics.
4. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
DARDINO is designed for families, including younger players. Guests can play without creating an account. Some games may include text chat or live microphone communication. Parents and carers should supervise children, help them choose safe nicknames, and remind them not to share personal information or room codes publicly. Private rooms are not a guarantee that everyone joining is known or trusted.
5. WHAT OTHER PLAYERS CAN SEE
Participants in the same room may see a player's nickname, avatar and gameplay information. Account email addresses and passwords are not intended to be visible to other players. A room code is not a guarantee that everyone joining is known or trusted.
6. PROFILE PHOTOS
Players may be able to select preset avatars or use profile images, depending on the features available to their account or game. An avatar or profile image shown in a multiplayer room may be visible to other participants. Avoid uploading or displaying images that reveal private information, particularly about children. Contact us to request removal of a profile image.
7. COOKIES AND BROWSER STORAGE
DARDINO uses essential cookies and browser storage to support login, security, gameplay and reconnection. These features work whether you accept or reject analytics.
With your optional consent, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand visits, traffic sources, device categories, approximate countries, game participation and approximate visible, connected playing time. Google receives pseudonymous browser identifiers and technical connection information. We do not send player names, email addresses, account identifiers, room codes, chat messages, cards, microphone data or authentication tokens to Google Analytics. Page URLs and referrers are restricted to remove private query strings and fragments.
Google Analytics is not loaded before you accept analytics. Reject analytics is offered alongside Accept analytics, and rejecting does not restrict play. Use Cookie settings on the homepage, each game or this Privacy Policy to change your choice. Withdrawing consent stops further measurement and removes Google Analytics cookies without deleting your login or saved rooms. Withdrawal does not automatically erase information collected while you had consented; contact us about your privacy rights.
Your consent or rejection is remembered in browser local storage for up to 180 days and applies across the homepage and all three games on dardino.com. Analytics cookies named _ga and _ga_* expire after at most 180 days under our tag configuration. After consent, per-tab session storage holds hashed local round references and event flags to avoid repeated participation events; it contains no readable room codes, is limited to 100 records, expires logically after six hours and is removed on withdrawal. These records are not sent to Google. If browser storage is blocked, choices may not persist and cross-reload deduplication may be unavailable.
Optional analytics uses consent. Our Google Analytics property is configured for two months of event-data retention, with Google Signals and ads personalisation disabled. Google may process analytics information outside the United Kingdom subject to its applicable data-processing terms and safeguards.
8. HOSTING AND SERVICE PROVIDERS
We use Namecheap and other technical infrastructure providers to host and operate DARDINO, and Google Analytics for optional website measurement where you consent. Providers may process data in other countries under their applicable contractual and data-protection safeguards. We do not sell players’ personal information.
9. HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
We keep account information while needed to provide accounts and for a reasonable period afterwards where necessary for security or legal obligations. Temporary gameplay and reconnection information is kept as needed to operate games; technical logs and support correspondence are retained only for legitimate operational, security or legal purposes. You can ask info@dardino.com about the retention of your information or request deletion where applicable.
10. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on applicable law and circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, transfer certain information, and withdraw consent where relevant. Contact info@dardino.com. We may need to verify the identity or authority of a requester, including a parent or guardian. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office: https://ico.org.uk.
11. SECURITY
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, although no online system guarantees absolute security. Protect your credentials and avoid personal information in nicknames.
12. CHANGES
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service or legal requirements change. The latest version will be available on our website.
